Viktor Svidró

Svidró_foto do půli tělaSvidró_taneční (2)Svidró_taneční (1)Viktor Svidró studied at the Dance Conservatory in Gyor, which he successfully completed in 2002.

Immediately after graduation he became a soloist in Debrecen Ballet under the artistic direction of Octavia Szigeti, who worked there until 2004. Since then he danced under the leadership of Attila Egerházi as a soloist. Along with him, in 2006 Viktor Svidró moved to the company Hungarian Ballet Theatre, and in 2009 to České Budějovice to continue with their successful cooperation. He danced as a soloist in more than 30 works of Attila Egerházi (About Kafka, Swan Lake, Carmen, Bolero, The Nutcracker …), and as well many known choreographers like Jiří Kylián (Un ballo, Six dances), Petr Zuska (Les Bras De Mer, Maria’s dream), Jorma Elo (Hammer),  Rui Horta (Ordinary Events), Mário Radačovský (Dinner, Suzan) and others.

He received several awards for his presentation in performances. Twice he won South Bohemian Thalia Award (for the role of Prince, The Nutcracker, 2012 and for the role of Kafka, About Kafka, 2014). He received board nomination for the Czech National Thalia Award (for the role of Prince, The Nutcracker, 2012), and nomination for the Czech National Thalia Award (for the role of Kafka, About Kafka, 2014). He won Prize for best soloist performance at Ballet staging exhibition Ballet 2014 (for the role of Kafka, About Kafka, 2014).

Viktor Svidró has also extensive experiences within the pedagogical activities. He has taught classical ballet at the Dance Centre Prague – Conservatory and, he was an artistic assistant of Ballet Prague Junior company and he also worked as an assistant choreographer for Attila Egerházi. He also created several choreographies for Ballet Prague Junior: Jan Petit (Festival Golden Prague), Golden Gate: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter (in cooperation with the Prague Symphony Orchestra).

Since the season 2015/2016 he is a member of Prague Chamber Ballet and the Laterna Magika.
