Iveta Krmelová started dancing in various children’s dance groups and learned the basics of classical and contemporary dance at an elementary art school in Šumperk, which she attended regularly from 2006. In 2010, she passed the talent tests for the Dance Center Prague – Conservatory and Grammar School and commenced her 8-years studies there, graduating in 2018. During her years of study, she danced in both its student companies, Baby Ballet Prague and Ballet Prague Junior. This gave her a chance to work with many Czech and foreign choreographers, such as Attila Egerházi, Samuel Delvaux, Lidia Wos and others. In her final year at the conservatory, she was offered external co- operation with the Prague Chamber Ballet, where she had the unique opportunity to dance in Tomáš Rychetský’s choreography Requiem for Infinity and Jiří Pokorný’s choreography The World of Daisies. Iveta Krmelová was a regular member of the Prague Chamber Ballet for several years and is now a permanent visiting dancer of the company.
