Filip Martinský
Filip Martinský graduated from the Prague Dance Conservatory. During his studies he danced in the Bohemia Balet ensemble where he also presented his choreographies. At the age of 16, he toured China and Taiwan for 6 months as a member of a Parisian dance group presenting the Romeo and Juliet musical. While studying he also participated in several competitions. He was awarded the 3rd place at an international ballet competition in Munich, 2nd place at an international choreography competition in Bytom (Poland) and the 1st place at an international ballet competition in Pilsen (2018).
He was also awarded the Prize for his contemporary choreography The Century. His choreography titled ‘Strange Fruit’ earned him invitations to various galas and festivals such as in Pilsen, Brno, Prague, Bratislava, Lodž, Bytom and Warsaw. He has participated at many dance courses and workshops – International Ballet Master-classes by Daria Klimentova (2017 and 2018), Vaganova Summer Intensive in Barcelona, Summer Intensive Batsheva Dance Company in Israel, various workshops of contemporary dance and national dances in the Netherlands (NDT), Belgium, Italy, India and Thailand.
After graduation from the Dance Conservatory in 2019, he joined the Lenka Vagnerová & Company dance ensemble. He also performs in the F. X. Šalda theatre in Liberec.
In January 2020 he became a soloist of the Prague Chamber Ballet.
