MgA. Martin Kolda
From his youth he was interested in ballroom dancing, in 2007 he achieved a title of Czech Republic vice-champion in Standard formations and later represented Czech Republic at the World championship. He graduated from Dance Centre Prague – Conservatory, where he was a member of Ballet Prague Junior. With this company he participated on many international tours, competitions and internships (Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Poland etc.) Already during his studies he was a member of ballet company of the North Bohemian Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Ústí nad Labem under the artistic direction of Vladimír Nečas. Another stage experiences he gained on the stages of The Estates Theatre, Laterna magika, Hudebního divadla Karlín (Musical Theatre), South Bohemian Theatre etc.
In 2011 he founded the production agency Art 4 People, where currently he works as an artistic director. He also works as a director and choreographer and his artistic Production could be seen in following projects – International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary, DESIGNBLOK 2013, CZECH TEAM Grand Event, or in several TV shows (Télévision Française 1, Prima, Czech TV…).
In 2013 he graduated from Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Master´s Degree at Music and Dance Faculty). Meanwhile he worked as a head of production of company Ballet Prague Junior. He is a dramaturge and one of the organizers of the Trade Fair Dance Life EXPO and as of 2014 he became a manager of the Prague Chamber Ballet.
