Ing. Kateřina Peková
Kateřina Peková studied at the conservatory Dance Centre Prague, where she was a member of student companies – Baby Ballet Prague and later Ballet Prague Junior. She gained valuable experiences and practice by performing on stages in the Czech Republic and abroad (Spain, France, Switzerland, Poland). During her studies she mainly focused on the production, marketing and fundraising in the agency International Dance Centre, there she gained further experiences in managing non-profit organizations. After the completion of her dance career, she graduated from the University of business in Prague, where she focused primarily on the possibility of linking culture with other economic sectors, notably tourism. During her studies she participated in many courses, conferences and student competitions, including those in close cooperation with CzechTourism. In the years 2012-2014 she held the positions of production, specializing in fundraising and foreign affairs at Dance Centre Prague. From 2012 she also works in art agency Art 4 People on the position of project director (artistic and cultural events for Skoda Auto, Karlovy Vary and Dance Life Expo Fair in Brno). After more than 7 months of language studies in Australia she became the production manager of the Prague Chamber Ballet.
