Martin Lesa comes from Uherské Hradiště. He has played musical instruments, in particular double bass since early childhood. He concentrates on folk music, where he has achieved success especially in ensemble performances. Between 2009 and 2015, he ranked at the top places or won golden bands in national folk music competitions with Moravian and Bohemian ensembles. He also played jazz music for some time, coming 2nd in the 2017 national jazz ensemble competition with the Emil Hradecký jazz trio.
Throughout his musical career, he was or still is a member of several musical ensembles focused on various musical genres, and are a valuable source of experience for him. He enthusiastically improves his musical skills and certainly has no intention of quitting his “full-time hobby”, as he describes music, quite the opposite.
He studies at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Business and Management, where he is completing the master’s degree in Strategic Company Development.
