Nikol Šneiderová was nominated in frame of broader nomination for the Thálie Prize 2012 for role of Julie in staging Romeo and Julie studied by South Bohemia Theatre in České Budějovice.
1. Which successes do you appreciate the most?
Right now the biggest success is the nomination for the Thálie Prize for 2012. To tell the truth I am happy from every small success and at the same time I cannot stand them. Every time when I receive just a small prize I know that I have to try even more.
2. Do you get nervous?
No.
3. Reveal to us name of one or two choreographers, which you acknowledge the most. And why?
As a choreographer I probably mostly appreciate Jiří Kylián. I believe that he has moved the dance art much further. Many choreographers are inspired by him and I think that they will still do for a long time. At the same time I am proud that he is of a Czech nationality. Thanks to him and to other successful world known art people, we can realize that everything is possible. In any case there are lot of other choreographers, which I could name. From some of them we know just individual pieces of work, from some we know lifelong work.
4. How do you like working in the Prague Chamber Ballet?
I like to work in Prague Chamber Ballet very much. I think that we are a group and that is for me very important, to have friendly people around me.
