The choreography ‘Mirabell’ is inspired by the dazzling music composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, seemingly optimistic, yet intimate at its core and rich with concealed meanings and symbols. Egerházi perceives music as poetry, a many-faceted work reflecting Mozart’s character.
The title ‘Mirabell’ refers to the atmosphere at the Salzburg Baroque chateau and flower gardens.
The costumes designed by Andrea T. Haamer hint to the Mozart’s times and present a symbolic link between the past and the future, emphasizing the timeless nature of the production.
